Lorena is a Dominican-American filmmaker. Her work as a writer/director has screened in competition at multiple film festivals, including Palm Springs Short Fest and Atlanta Film Festival. Her collaborations as cinematographer have been selected for Sundance, Tribeca, Edinburgh, among many others. Recently, she has been selected for the 2020 INCLUSION FELLOWSHIP for Latinx writer/directors, sponsored by Netflix and the LA Latin International Film Festival. She also completed the Film Independent Project Involve Fellowship in LA for emerging filmmakers and won 1st Place for the ARRI Volker Bahnemann Award for Outstanding Cinematography in New York. Lorena holds an MFA in Film from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
