It Was Raining
Directed by Ignacio Lillini
Argentina | 7 minutes | 2021
While his family sleeps, Iñaki is awaken by a new desire.
A suffocating summer afternoon. Eleven-year-old Iñaki lies between the semi-naked bodies of his brothers and his father. Outside, it starts to rain. Between play and desire, Iñaki kisses the back of his father. Inside, it starts to rain too. Iñaki uses his imagination to get through the situation. The guilt of exploring his sexual awakening confronts him with the fear of non-acceptance.
Ignacio Lillini (1987) lives in Córdoba, Argentina. He studied Social Communication at The National University of Entre Ríos (UNER).
