Teresa Romo, Director of Creative–-Latin at BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.)

Teresa A. Romo is a Director, Creative- Latin at BMI. Romo is responsible for the acquisition and retainment of BMI’s Latin songwriters and fosters relationships with the company’s affiliates throughout their careers. She joined BMI in 2018 as a Media Relations Director before transitioning to the Creative team in 2020.

In her current role, Romo has signed and retained top songwriters in the Latin genre, including Geovani Cabrera, Alemán, Carla Morrison, Erika Vidrio, Beatriz Luengo, Amanda Coronel, Adriel Favela, José Esparza and Javier Rochin, among others.

As an expert in the Latin music industry with 10+ years of experience, she has a proven track record of developing and executing effective global media communications strategies in the entertainment, music, and non-profit sectors across major companies such as Live Nation, Clear Channel Radio, Universal Music Latin Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Capitol Latin, Telemundo and The Latin Recording Academy.

Teresa received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University.

David Murillo R.

David Murillo R. is an award-winning Colombian film composer and certified gold & platinum music producer.

His composing work spans a wide variety of styles ranging from Netflix’s most popular foreign language show to date “Who Killed Sara?”, to 2016 Sundance multi-award winning “Between Sea and Land”, and the sibling rivalry coming-of-age story “Blast Beat” also an official Sundance selection in 2020.

His producing and composing credits have amassed over 90 Million streams on Spotify and over 60 Million views on YouTube. Under the name ofAGALMA, his musical talent and eclectic mix of Latin Urban sounds, have earned him collaborations with international artists Lola Indigo, Danna Paola, Denise Rosenthal, Lalo Ebratt, Rauw Alejandro and Maluma. His latest singles “4 Besos” and “Santería” received 2 Gold and 3 Platinum certifications.

Maria Vertiz

Maria Vertiz is a composer, producer, and songwriter from Mexico City, Mexico. She was awarded best composition at the GEMS Film Scoring Workshop by composers Christopher Young (The Grudge, Spiderman 3), Gary Schyman (Bioshock, Torn) and orchestrator Pete Anthony (Us, The Hunger Games). Maria graduated with honors from the Film Scoring Program at Berklee College of Music and she was invited to collaborate on the feature film, John Henry, starring Ludacris and Terry Crews. Maria resides in Los Angeles, where she has worked under 8-time Academy Award nominee and Emmy winner, James Newton Howard (Jungle Cruise, King Kong, Fantastic Beasts) on major tentpole productions including Raya and the Last Dragon and Jungle Cruise.

She’s currently been commissioned by LACMA to score a docuseries and is working on several feature films, including the documentary Jefe de Jefes about the legendary Mexican band, Los Tigres del Norte.

Tom Kramer

Tom grew up all over the country and studied piano and trumpet as a child. He landed in Los Angeles as a teenager and began playing in various local bands through high school and college. During this time he also studied film composition and programmed synthesizers for record and commercial sessions. Tom’s first gig in the film industry was with the legendary Else Blangsted. Some notable directors and composers Tom has had the privilege of working with are Steven Speilberg, Quinten Tarrentino, Ron Howard, Alexander Payne, James Horner, Quincy Jones, Thomas Newman, James Newton Howard, Howard Shore, John Debney, Randy Newman and many others. Tom has also written numerous songs for film and television with most recent credits including Wandavision, Dark Waters, Avengers Endgame, and Queen's Gambit where he received an Emmy.

Anele Onyekwere

Anele Onyekwere is an Emmy nominated music editor who has developed a major career in Film and Television.

Anele is the Score Supervisor and Supervising Music Editor for all the streaming at Marvel Studios, where he worked in titles like “WandaVision”, “Loki”, “Hawkeye”, “Ms. Marvel” or the animation show “What If…?”, among many others. In 2021, he received two Emmy Nominations for his work on both “WandaVision” and “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”.

In 2016, Anele joined the Marvel Studios Music team, having worked on such iconic titles as “Avengers: Endgame” and “Avengers: Infinity War”, “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, “Captain Marvel”, “Thor: Ragnarok”, “Doctor Strange” or the multi-awarded “Black Panther”, Oscar winner for Best Score in 2019.

Right before joining Marvel Studios, he worked as Music Editor on the also multi-awarded musical "La La Land", directed by Damien Chazelle, Oscar winner for both Best Score and Best Song in 2017.

Other credits include "El Secreto De Sus Ojos" (The Secret In Their Eyes), Oscar Academy Award in 2010 for Best Foreign Film, "Don't Breathe" directed by Fede Alvarez or "Exodus: Gods and Kings" directed by Ridley Scott.

Between 2007 and 2016, Anele worked teamed with the composer Federico Jusid, and produced, edited and mixed the original soundtrack of more than 30 movies and TV series, many of them awarded in international festivals, like ""El Secreto De Sus Ojos"" (The Secret In Their Eyes), "Isabel", "Carlos, Rey Emperador", "Los Misterios de Laura" (The Mysteries of Laura), among many others.

He has also worked with other important composers like Roque Baños and Zeltia Montes.
