She made her directorial debut on opening night of the Latino International Film Festival

Eva Longoria looked every bit a Hollywood director while attending the premiere of her movie Flamin’ Hot.

The Desperate Housewives alum, who is making her directorial debut with the biographical comedy-drama, wore a dramatic black gown to opening night of the 2023 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.

The semi-sheer asymmetrical shirt dress featured long sleeves and a high leg slit on one side. Its long train fell down to the red carpet. Longoria paired it simply with black platform sandals by Christian Louboutin. She additionally accessorized with large diamond drop earrings and silver rings.

As for glam, the star represented Flamin’ Hot with a red-hot pointy manicure and matching pedicure. She wore a shimmering gray smoky eye and a glossy brown lip, and had her hair styled in silky waves.

“The flavor you know. The story you don’t. #FlaminHotMovie, directed by ME! Streaming June 9th on @Hulu & @disneyplus,” Longoria wrote in a recent Instagram post promoting her new film. The movie tells (an embellished version of) the story of Richard Montanez, the son of a Mexican immigrant, who was a janitor at Frito-Lay when he came up with the idea for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. His spicy creation, as we now know, was a huge hit and brought the flavors of Mexico to the mainstream American snack-food industry.

Longoria’s latest sophisticated red-carpet look comes days after she showed off her luxe style in Cannes at the seaside city’s annual film festival. The star dazzled in various looks, including a shimmering silver dress with cutouts, a sheer white lacy gown, a black bodysuit, and a striking red asymmetrical dress. “Walking this red carpet never gets old 😍,” she wrote in one Instagram post from the festival.
