Writing for Animation Television with The Nickelodeon Writing Program

Writing for animation television brings its own unique challenges and opportunities. Writers from Nickelodeon Animation Studio and the Nickelodeon Writing Program will give insight into what makes it different, making the jump to being an animation writer from live action or a completely different career. At the end of the program attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in small group conversations with working writers.

Kate Blatchford

Kate Blatchford is the Sr. Manager for Creative Talent Development & Outreach at Nickelodeon, where she has supported the operations of the Writing & Artist Programs since 2017. A Media Studies graduate from Emerson College, her passion has long been promoting Diversity & Inclusion in all facets of the entertainment industry.
