After memories of the past are unleashed, a daughter reaches the limit of the conflictive relationship with her mother in the middle of a birthday celebration.
A daughter takes care of her sick mother. They seem to be trapped and hurt by their past. When the daughter senses that her mother is soon to die, a feeling that there is something yet to be resolved won't leave her -not even in the middle of a birthday celebration.
Born in Lima, Peru, in 1999, Mauricio studied Communication at University of Lima. In 2021, he won the first place in the contest Corto de Boleto from the University of Lima and participated in the lab organized by Festival Render de Cine Universitario with "Blanca", his short film project. He recently worked as a script supervisor in the Peruvian feature film Pirú. "La hija buena" (Mother's daughter) is his first short film.
