The LFI Works In Progress finishing fund, sponsored by Amazon MGM Studios, supports the completion of independent, U.S.-based feature-length fiction and documentary films that elevate Latino perspectives, providing finishing funds for the final stages of post-production.

Works In Progress grants support for films with strong production value, a distinctive directorial voice, cultural significance, and commercial viability, helping bring meaningful stories to completion and to audiences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Directed and/or produced by a filmmaker who identifies as Latino (18+)

• Projects must be independently produced, feature-length (minimum 70 minutes), fiction or documentary (TV or pilots not eligible)

• Commitment to complete the film within one year of fund allocation
